A Man, His Wife, and His Hat

Mandell Weiss Forum Theatre, UC San Diego

projection design

I use technology to create multi-media, immersive worlds. Projections is more than text on a screen: it is emotion, it is atmosphere, it is character. The use of technology in a production should serve a necessary purpose; it should be an integrated part of the show and meld seamlessly with the other elements bringing out new levels of meaning for the audience. I work to create an environment, both for the audience and for the characters on stage, that takes you to a different place.
